Data Collection and Collation

In order for a Business Rescue Plan to comply with the Companies Act in terms of section 150, certain information will need to be made available to the Business Rescue Practitioner by the Company.

The problem the Practitioner faces is that he/she does not know if the information provided by the Company and its directors is correct or accurate. Our support team removes the hassle of collecting this data and summarizing it into usable information.

Accounting Services

Our team will ensure financial control within the Company, easing the practitioner’s mind about any attempts by the Company to unnecessarily put itself into any further financial distress. This entails taking over control of the Company’s bank accounts, cash flow systems and instituting a post-commencement finance system.

BRS is registered with SARS and can therefore act on behalf of any company or individual.

BRS offers various advisory services to the BRP. These services are specialist services which will differ, depending on what the BRP may require.

Administration Services

Liaising with and being the practitioner’s interface with CIPC, including the drafting, completing and submitting of all relevant documents
Obtaining contract details of all parties form the company and other public sources
Notifying all affected parties of the relevant meetings to be held in terms of the ACT;
Preparing, issuing and receiving proof of (creditor) claims for the Section 147 meeting;
Filing monthly reports to CIPC and all affected parties to comply with Section 132(3)(a) of the Companies Act.
